A 1950s walnut tallboy by E. Gomme for G Plan, with six drawers arranged within a simple rectangular cabinet. The drawer fronts display a pronounced symmetrical grain pattern, with two shallow upper drawers and four deeper drawers below.
The original brown Bakelite handles have brass mounts, complemented by dark tapered legs with brass feet. At just 61 cm wide, the tall, narrow proportions provide generous drawer storage without taking up too much floor space.
A good example in good vintage condition, with minor signs of age and use. All Bakelite handles are intact and in good condition.
