Probably German, this table oozes the style and aesthetic of the period towards the end of the 70s when chrome was all the rage. A style that is currently seeing a huge resurgence in the interiors world.
The frame is a chromed steel square tube construction with adjustable feet and a “floating” top. The quality of this table is difficult to describe but the weight and construction illustrate this aspect. It’s a really high quality item.
The top encapsulates glazed tiles with a strong geometric design with huge retro vibes. The glaze on the tiles featured a highly textured design with some sections of the pattern in high gloss smooth geometric swirls and others in a textured design in relief.
