Mid Century Danish Rosewood Three Door Sideboard by Skovby

A super stylish Danish rosewood sideboard by Skovby, with a clean, floor-standing design and some absolutely beautiful grain. The three handleless doors give it a wonderfully simple appearance, while the gently rounded edges, framed top and recessed plinth are lovely examples of Danish mid-century design. Inside, there’s a bank of five shallow drawers, giving oodles of baize-lined storage, alongside two spacious shelved compartments. A very high-quality piece with plenty of practical storage.

The sideboard is in excellent vintage condition overall, with some UV fading to the top surface, as shown in the photographs. The beautifully figured rosewood remains the real attraction, particularly across those three doors. A substantial and versatile piece that would work equally well in a dining room or living space, offering useful storage without looking overly fussy. Proper craftsmanship and a lovely example of Danish furniture.
