Pair of 1970s Teak Single Bed Headboards

A pair of matching 1970s single bed headboards with teak surrounds and upholstered blue velour panels.

The design is simple and well proportioned, with slim rounded teak frames surrounding the large upholstered centre panels. The blue velour has a subtle texture and sits particularly well against the warm colour of the timber.

They retain their adjustable wooden bed struts, allowing the height to be altered when fitted. They work well as a matching pair for twin beds, although they could of course be used individually.

The existing upholstery is in excellent condition, but the construction also makes these relatively straightforward to recover if a different fabric is preferred. I can recover both headboards in customer-supplied fabric for an additional £40. Please get in touch before purchasing if you would like to discuss this.

Excellent vintage condition overall. The blue velour upholstery is clean and well presented, and the teak surrounds show only minor signs of age and previous use. Please study the photographs for the best indication of overall condition.
