A smart pair of mid-century bedside chests, each with three generously sized drawers and attractive teak grain.
The clean, architectural design is typical of the period, with flush drawer fronts, gently projecting tops and simple plinth bases. Each drawer is finished with a distinctive square metal handle, giving the pair a particularly crisp, understated appearance.
The teak has a warm, even colour with attractive figuring across the drawer fronts. Their relatively generous proportions provide considerably more storage than many mid-century bedside cabinets, while the simple design would work equally well in contemporary or period interiors.
A very useful and well-proportioned matching pair.
Good vintage condition with light marks and wear consistent with age and use, as shown in the photographs.
