A small rustic elm stool with a thick rectangular seat, splayed legs and simple stretcher construction.
The stool has a heavily worn surface with remnants of old red paint, deep colour and plenty of marks from use. The timber has developed a particularly good patina, with visible repairs, irregularities and wear throughout.
A compact piece that works well as a low stool, small occasional table or decorative stand.
Well used condition with extensive marks, scratches, cracks, old repairs and surface wear throughout. There is a central hole through the seat and areas of remaining red paint, all shown in the photographs.
