1960s teak sideboard / chest of drawers

A compact 1960s teak sideboard with six drawers, raised on shaped legs. Finished in a high-gloss lacquer that gives the grain plenty of depth. The drawer layout is practical and works well for general storage, whether used in a living room, bedroom or hallway. It’s a useful size that doesn’t dominate a space.

The piece is solid and has been checked over and cleaned. There are some veneer chips, most noticeably to the lower edge of the left-hand drawer, along with some UV fading to the top surface. These are cosmetic and consistent with age, and are reflected in the price. A good, usable mid-century piece.
