A charming antique French bobbin chair with beautifully turned spindle construction and a low, informal stance. Full of rustic character, this piece works well as an accent chair, bedroom chair or decorative occasional seat in both traditional and modern interiors.
The frame is solid and stable with a deep, timeworn patina throughout. The original canvas sling seat is intact but shows clear age-related wear, repairs and thinning, as photographed, which is reflected in the price and contributes to the honest antique character of the piece.
