Ercol Sappho 842 Elm Coffee Table – Three Drawer Coffee Table
A solid elm Sappho coffee table by Ercol, model 842, with three drawers across the front.
It has a broad rectangular top with softly rounded edges, three recessed wooden drawer handles and gently shaped legs. The elm has a particularly pronounced grain across the top, with plenty of natural variation in the timber.
The three drawers provide useful storage without adding much bulk to the design. At 120cm wide, there is plenty of usable surface area, while the open base keeps the overall form relatively light.
Condition
Excellent vintage condition. The table is clean, solid and well presented, with only very minor signs of age and previous use. Please refer to the photographs for the best indication of overall condition.
