Legate Teak Slim Drop-Leaf Dining Table

A 1960s/70s teak drop-leaf dining table by Legate, retaining its original maker's label.

This is a particularly useful design for smaller spaces. With both leaves down the table is just 17.5cm deep, so it can sit neatly against a wall when not needed. Each leaf can be raised independently, or both opened to create a full dining table measuring 148cm across.

The base is nicely considered rather than purely functional, with shaped supports, gently tapered legs and long stretchers. The teak top has rounded corners and a warm, even finish.

Condition

Excellent vintage condition overall. There are one or two minor marks from previous use but nothing that particularly stands out. The top presents very well and the original Legate label remains in place. Please study the photographs for the best indication of overall condition.
