Mid Century White & Newton Round Extending Dining Table

A mid century round extending dining table by White & Newton, with the maker’s label still present underneath. The simple circular form sits on four gently tapered legs, with extension leaves allowing the table to increase from 122 cm to 167 cm in length. A really useful design, giving you a neat round table for everyday use and considerably more dining space when needed.

It is in great vintage condition overall, with only some relatively minor marks to the legs and general signs of use. There is a strong colour difference between the main top and the extension leaves, caused by the usual UV bleaching to the exposed sections over the years. This is very typical of extending mid century tables and is clearly shown in the photographs. A good practical dining table with plenty of life left in it.
