Danish Teak Double Extending Dining Table by Ansager

A well-proportioned Danish teak dining table by Ansager Møbler A/S, with a clean oval form, rounded ends and an elegant pedestal base. The warm teak grain and restrained lines give it a classic mid-century look, while the base design allows flexible seating without legs getting in the way.

The table extends in stages from its standard size to two larger formats, making it a particularly practical option for everyday use and larger gatherings alike. It seats up to 12, helped by the pedestal-style supports and generous width. The extension leaves are stored neatly beneath the top and are operated from one side using a rack and pinion mechanism.

In good vintage condition overall, with light age-related wear. There are some marks and dings to the edges, including an example shown in the photographs. The top presents better in person than the photographs suggest, with the images making the surface appear more patchy than it is in reality.
