A genuine Morris of Glasgow walnut sideboard with that distinctive floating top detail and clean mid-century lines. The proportions are spot on – compact enough for modern living but with proper internal storage behind the sliding doors, plus three upper drawers for cutlery or bits and bobs. The contrast between the lighter frame and darker walnut fronts gives it real depth, especially in natural light.
There is visible scratching across the drawer fronts, shown clearly in the photos. It’s cosmetic rather than structural, and priced accordingly. Structurally sound, smooth sliding doors, and standing well on its original tapered legs. A solid, honest 1960s piece from a respected Scottish maker.
