A well-made 1970s campaign style bedside chest with three drawers, brass corner fittings and recessed brass handles.
Finished in a rich, dark wood tone, with brass banding to the front and decorative carrying handles to the sides. The top has an inset black writing surface with a gold decorative border and brass corner protectors.
A compact and practical piece that works well as a bedside cabinet or small chest of drawers.
Good vintage condition with some marks, scratches and minor wear to the woodwork and brass fittings, consistent with age and use. The inset top also has some surface marks, as shown in the photographs.
