A 1960s G Plan extending dining table with that unmistakable mid century profile — soft rounded edges, tapered legs and beautifully shaped apron rails underneath. Clean, confident design without trying too hard.
The teak top has a rich, warm tone with lovely grain running through it, especially when extended. The extension leaf stores neatly within the table and pulls out smoothly, taking it from everyday family size to full dinner-party mode in seconds. It’s been cleaned, and the top refinished in hard wax oil for protection.
There are some minor signs of age as you’d expect, but nothing structural or distracting. Solid, level and ready to use.
These are popular for a reason. The proportions work in modern homes just as well as they did in the 60s.
