A genuine Meredew Avalon mid century extending dining table in warm teak with classic 1960s lines. Clean profile, softly rounded edges and slim tapered legs. Seats 6-8 and is big when extended, compact when not.
The top has a lovely contrast between the central panels and the surrounding frame, a detail Avalon pieces are known for. Butterfly extension mechanism runs smoothly and the table is solid and stable. There are light signs of age as you’d expect from a piece of this era, but overall it presents very well and has clearly been cared for.
