Skovby Danish Teak Drop Leaf Dining Table with Storage

Danish teak drop leaf dining table by Skovby, designed to provide maximum flexibility in a compact footprint. The table features two, pneumatically lifted, drop leaves, allowing it to function as a narrow console or occasional table when closed, a small dining table with one leaf raised, or a full dining table when both leaves are extended.

A particularly useful design for smaller homes, apartments and open-plan spaces. Beneath the top is a concealed pull-out storage drawer fitted with metal basket storage and a reversible serving panel with teak on one side and stainless steel on the other. Originally intended for drinks, serving accessories, plates and entertaining items, it provides practical hidden storage rarely found in tables of this size.

The table is structurally sound and presents well overall. There are two small areas of lacquer loss to one drop leaf and a small chip to the corner of the fixed top section, both shown in the photographs. General signs of age and use are present consistent with a genuine rare vintage piece.
