1960s East German chunky dining chairs, set of four

Solid, well-proportioned 1960s East German dining chairs with a chunky, confident stance. Warm-toned beech frames with gently curved backs and simple upholstered panels give them a practical, honest mid-century look that works well around a family table.

The frames are sturdy and sit well, with light age-related marks consistent with use. The original 1960s upholstery has been retained and shows a couple of small light patches, as photographed, but remains perfectly usable and in keeping with the period character.
