Mid Century Teak Sideboard by A. Younger – Three Drawers

A mid century teak sideboard by British furniture maker A. Younger, dating from around the 1960s. It features three central drawers with shaped wooden handles, flanked by a cupboard at either end. The top drawer has a divided interior with green baize lining, while the cupboards provide additional storage, including a shelf to one side. The long, low design, simple lines and tapered legs give it a distinctly Scandinavian-influenced look. A well-made piece with plenty of practical storage.

The sideboard is in good vintage condition overall, although there are definite signs of use throughout. These include surface scratches, marks around the handles and some subtle darker rings on the top, all shown in the photographs. The warm teak finish still presents well, and the relatively modest depth makes it a useful piece for a dining room or living space.
