Vintage Blonde Ercol Windsor Elm & Beech Dining Chairs – Set of Four

A lovely set of four vintage Ercol Windsor dining chairs, made in England and dating from the 1960s. They feature the classic combination of solid elm seats with steam-bent beech hoop backs, slender turned spindles and tapered legs, giving them the timeless look that has made Ercol furniture so sought after. One chair still retains its original blue Ercol label and all four carry the 1960 British Standard stamp beneath the seats, confirming their period. Proper British craftsmanship that has stood the test of time.

The chairs are solid and sturdy, with the honest signs of age and everyday use you'd expect from over sixty years of service. There are surface marks, wear and a well-developed patina across the seats and frames which only adds to their character. Ideal around a dining table, in a farmhouse kitchen or mixed with other vintage seating. A genuine set with plenty of life left in them.
