Elegant bentwood dining set featuring a rectangular beech table with four classic Thonet no.14 cafe chairs. Each chair has a curved back and woven cane seat and backrest, offering timeless café-bistro charm.
Produced in the 1970s by ZPM Radomsko, a licensed producer of Thonet products, though these are officially considered reproductions as by the time these were produced, Thonet’s patent had expired on the design.
The table top is solid teak, the reed, bergere work, is in great condition, though I suspect two of the chairs have had their seats rewoven, as there is a slight colour difference. The chairs show patina relevant to age, but with a set like this, the patina makes them more desirable. A great set, in great condition.
